PQ and National Silicates Announce Price Adjustment

MALVERN, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PQ and National Silicates today announced that their respective operations in the United States and Canada will increase prices effective September 1, 2021, or as contracts and agreements permit.

This price adjustment is driven by significant increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs.

PQ and National Silicates will increase list and off-list prices in the United States and Canada, respectively. The price increase ranges from 10-20% or $0.015 per pound (USD) for standard liquid sodium silicate grades and $0.05-0.25 per pound (USD) for specialty grades.
